Prediction Market History, Faster Live Data, and Expanded Flat Files

September brought new historical datasets, broader Flat Files coverage, and a major set of live market-data improvements across CoinAPI, FinFeedAPI, and the APIBricks platform.

Prediction Markets gained historical OHLCV and dedicated bulk datasets. CoinAPI moved more exchange integrations to WebSocket, added on-chain tokenized-stock coverage, and strengthened Hyperliquid L4 reconstruction. FinFeedAPI expanded Stock API OHLCV coverage and improved how end-of-day data is synchronized.

Here’s what changed.

Prediction Markets API now provides historical OHLCV through:

/v1/activity/{exchange_id}/{market_id}/history/ohlcv

The endpoint supports 1-second, 1-minute, and 1-hour bars, giving developers and researchers a simpler way to analyze how prediction-market activity changed over time.

The same functionality is available through MCP using the activity_get_ohlcv_history tool.

We also simplified historical queries. Prediction Markets history endpoints can now use either a specific date or a time_start / time_end range instead of requiring both.

Prediction-market data is now available through dedicated Flat Files datasets for:

  • Trades
  • Quotes
  • Order books
  • OHLCV

FinFeedAPI also introduced a dedicated predictionmarkets bucket for bulk access.

This gives research, backtesting, ML, and large-scale analytics workflows an alternative to retrieving historical prediction-market data one API request at a time.

Sub-daily prediction-market OHLCV periods also received dedicated priced SKUs.

September included a broad migration of CoinAPI exchange integrations toward WebSocket-based ingestion for live trades and order books.

Updates covered WEEX, COINW, BIGONE, BITBANK, VALR, INDODAX, COINDCX, WAZIRX, BITFLYER, COINEX, KORBIT, BITHUMB, and others.

BITBANK market discovery was also moved away from a stale hardcoded pair list to its live market list.

Additional fixes improved Huobi-family WebSocket subscriptions and funding-rate processing, corrected BITHUMB trade timestamps from Korean time to UTC, and migrated BITGET spot WebSocket ingestion to v3.

Together, these changes improve how CoinAPI discovers markets and ingests live exchange data.

Several September fixes focused specifically on HYPERLIQUIDL4 data in the CoinAPI Market Data WebSocket DS API.

We fixed a snapshot race that could produce incomplete or crossed order books and stopped retired add/sub updates from leaking into book_l4 during resynchronization.

Another fix addressed cases where Hyperliquid reused the same order ID for parent and child orders. Previously, the metadata collision could cause snapshot consumers to fail.

Additional submission-time rejection statuses are now mapped as well, improving how order lifecycle changes are represented during L4 reconstruction.

CoinAPI Flat Files now includes priced SKUs for Metrics and Metrics V2, covering datasets such as open interest, funding rates, and related market metrics.

These datasets use the same tiered pricing structure as Quotes / BBO / Level 1.

Hourly Metrics OHLCV Parquet files now source from T-METRICS-V2, while the older daily T-METRICS-OHLCV files have been retired in favor of Metrics V2.

This moves metric-based historical workflows toward the newer dataset while expanding bulk access to derivatives and market-state information.

CoinAPI added BITGETONCHAIN, covering on-chain Bitget RWA and tokenized-stock trades.

This includes instruments such as Ondo-issued tokenized equities, for example NVDAon. CoinAPI maps the underlying equity ticker and quotes these instruments in USD.

Because these pools do not provide a native order book, CoinAPI supplies a synthetic last-trade quote alongside the trade data.

FinFeedAPI expanded its Stock API historical coverage during September.

Historical 1-second OHLCV is now available beyond the previous recent two-day window, while IEX 1-minute OHLCV coverage was added with daily rollups.

End-of-day synchronization was also changed to run after each exchange closes rather than processing every market together at midnight UTC. This prevents completed Asian sessions from waiting until the global midnight sync.

IEX files are now ingested as next-day data becomes available, reducing the risk of missing morning coverage.

The shared MCP infrastructure received two important fixes.

Flat Files MCP now completes the handshake correctly for Streamable HTTP clients, improving compatibility for clients connecting to Flat Files through MCP.

We also fixed MCP tool calls that could fail when usage reporting attempted to modify response headers after a streamed response had already started.

Console invoice handling received additional improvements as well.

September expanded both the datasets available through APIBricks and the ways teams can access them.

Prediction-market data now goes further into historical research and bulk workflows. CoinAPI continues moving live exchange ingestion toward WebSocket while strengthening Hyperliquid L4 handling. FinFeedAPI has deeper Stock API OHLCV coverage, and Metrics V2 adds another layer of historical market information for quantitative analysis.
